Territory Manager, MEP – Portland, ME Field-Based The Job Manage a territory of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing accounts. Responsibilities Maintain assigned business within MEP groups. Execute strategic plans using Go-to-Market strategy, product service, marketing programs, and targeted funding. Regularly visit key customers, distributors, events, and prospects, with daily travel required. Achieve sales targets for Power Tools, Hand Tools, Accessories, and key regional chains. Build and nurture relationships with internal teams, distribution partners, and end‑users. Conduct distributor and end‑user product training, conduct field work‑withs, and identify end‑user conversions. Analyze channel‑specific pricing structures and programming. Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to management and marketing. Manage Time & Expense and MAP budgets and field schedule. Document work plans, visit logs, and customer data in Salesforce. Use Power BI and Microsoft Office tools to analyze data and develop growth plans. Qualifications 1–3 years of sales experience in product, commercial, or industrial sales or similar. Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight. Proficiency in analyzing Power BI and Salesforce data to create strategic growth plans. Goal oriented with proven ability to meet and exceed measurable performance goals. Strong product and market knowledge to drive sales and gain share with retail partners. Flexible and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Creative problem‑solving and event promotion skills. Experience with IT business systems (Salesforce, Tool Commerce, etc.) and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record screening. Ability to pass all required drug and criminal background checks. Compensation The total target cash compensation range for this position is $67,200 – $108,200, inclusive of base salary and variable cash compensation. Target incentive plans or commissions may apply.
