Associate, Banker - Industry/Country Coverage with Goldman Sachs & Co LLC in New York, New York. Create and analyze complex financial models and perform scenario analyses to examine the effects of proposed client alternatives. Use mathematical models and statistical techniques to analyze data and prepare reports, charts and tables summarizing analyses and research results. Requires: Master’s Degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Management Science, Business Administration, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Management Science, Business Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: facilitating communication and collaboration with internal and external parties, including clients and key decision-makers, to gather inputs, inform recommendations, and support working sessions; executing multiple client workstreams and projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery, coordinating tasks and prioritizing conflicting deadlines; conducting in-depth analysis of financial and non-financial data, including market trends, KPIs, and various scenarios, to evaluate strategic alternatives and decisions; developing, validating, and utilizing complex financial models with quantitative methods for financial analysis, including operating models and scenario analyses, to support business strategy and corporate finance recommendations; reviewing, analyzing, and synthesizing complex financial and non-financial data, including market commentary and sector research, to prepare comprehensive presentations and summarize findings and recommendations; and leveraging industry-standard platforms, such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Dealogic, and Thomson Research Portal, alongside Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), for data analysis, modeling, and presentation development. Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $175,000 - $203,000.
