Our client is a performance-driven creative and media agency partnering with some of the most exciting D2C and e-commerce brands in the UK and beyond. Their team blends creative strategy, production, design and data-backed optimisation to produce ads that don't just look great — they scale.

From UGC and high-production video to motion graphics and conversion-led design, they act as the in-house creative engine for ambitious brands. Their work sits at the intersection of insight, psychology and performance — delivering creative that moves the needle.

As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Video Editor based in South Africa who can take a brief and run with it — someone who edits with pace, precision and a deep understanding of what makes people stop scrolling. You will work remotely as an embedded member of their UK-based creative team, operating on UK hours (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM GMT/BST).

The Role

You will be the go-to editor within our client's creative team, responsible for turning raw footage, UGC content and creative concepts into polished, high-performing video assets across Meta, TikTok and beyond. Your work will directly impact campaign performance for some of the fastest-growing brands in the UK.

You will collaborate closely with their creative strategists, designers, media buyers and production teams — bringing ideas to life through sharp editing, compelling pacing and platform-native storytelling.

This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes video, understands the nuances of performance creative, and wants to push the quality bar in a commercially minded, supportive team. You will need to be comfortable working UK hours to ensure seamless collaboration with the wider team.

What You'll Own

• Edit and deliver high-quality video content across UGC, high-production shoots, testimonials, product demos and branded content
• Cut performance-driven ad creatives optimised for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other paid social platforms
• Apply motion graphics, text overlays, transitions and sound design to elevate creative output
• Collaborate with creative strategists to interpret briefs and translate concepts into compelling video
• Repurpose and adapt content across multiple formats, aspect ratios and platform specifications
• Build and maintain an organised asset library and project file structure
• Stay ahead of editing trends, platform best practices and emerging video formats
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with speed, structure and attention to detail

You'll Thrive Here If You Have:

• 3 years of professional video editing experience, ideally within an agency, production house or performance marketing environment
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut experience is a bonus)
• Strong motion graphics and animation skills for lower thirds, text overlays and dynamic transitions
• A sharp eye for pacing, storytelling and what makes content perform on paid social
• Experience editing UGC, testimonial-style and direct-response video content
• Solid understanding of platform specs, aspect ratios and delivery requirements across Meta, TikTok and YouTube
• Strong colour grading and audio editing fundamentals
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote setup suitable for video editing
• A proactive, commercially minded, growth-oriented mindset
