The Department of Anesthesiology at our organization is thrilled to announce multiple openings for academic Anesthesiologists as we expand our clinical services (open rank). We are seeking both generalists and fellowship-trained specialists in areas such as OB, Neuro, Regional, Chronic Pain, Critical Care, Cardiac, and Pediatrics. Join a collaborative team where you can excel in your field while delivering patient care in a tertiary institution that employs the anesthesia care team model, alongside providing didactic and clinical training for residents, SRNAs, and medical students.

In this position, you will have the chance to:

• Engage in a flexible staffing arrangement within a 40-hour work week.

• Choose between call and no-call track options.

• Work at the sole academic medical center in New York's Capital Region.

• Participate in clinical and educational research with guidance from experienced mentors.

• Collaborate with a committed team to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and outcomes throughout the perioperative process.

Each year, we administer approximately 45,000 anesthetics across all major specialties in our main operating rooms, out-of-OR locations, and various ASC and office-based environments.

NEWLY APPROVED COMPENSATION STRUCTURE!

• Competitive base salary range:

  • Assistant Professor: $433,000 - $522,000

  • Associate Professor: $444,000 - $535,000

  • Professor: $455,000 - $548,000

• Annual quality bonus of 5% of base salary.

• Numerous overtime opportunities available for additional earnings.

• Sign-on bonus of up to $45,000 and relocation assistance of up to $10,000.
