An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support early learners in a specialized educational setting. This position offers a rewarding chance to collaborate on a part-time basis during the upcoming school year with a unique group of young students.

In this role, you would be providing speech-language services within a K-2 environment for a caseload of 9 students. The assignment is set to begin with new hire orientation activities scheduled for mid-August and will continue through the 2026-2027 academic year (with dates tentative). The weekly schedule consists of 7 on-site hours, providing flexibility and focused intervention time. Strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive supervision and support are available.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois
  • Ability to provide screenshots verifying both licensure and PEL
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience or training in school settings, particularly early childhood (K-2)
  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • New graduates with a strong clinical background will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small-group speech-language services to students in grades K-2
  • Develop and implement IEP goals based on student needs
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, classroom staff, and families
  • Maintain detailed records and progress notes per school and district requirements
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development events
  • Commit to onsite services for the duration of the assignment
