Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Distribution Center in Aurora, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting access concerns and maintaining accurate activity logs.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
- Support a professional, welcoming environment by providing directions, answering questions, and communicating observed hazards or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
