Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides specialized emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. Ensures patient safety and comfort while adhering to industry standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize treatment based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately into electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing lifesaving interventions.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Washington State license or Multi-state license eligible for practice.
• Complete approved 6-hour suicide prevention training.
• Verify demographics through Nursys.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience and knowledge in emergency nursing within a busy ED setting.
• Be a team player with strong communication skills.
