Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) TSA Issued TWIC Job Schedule: Mon: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Tue: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sat: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, buildings, access points, and perimeter zones, while observing and reporting unusual conditions and/or security‑related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site policies and post instructions. Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and support Allied Universal standards for documentation and communication. Minimum Requirements: A TSA‑issued TWIC is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
