Director, Patient Services

Beam Therapeutics seeks a Director of Patient Services to lead the patient support strategy for risto-cel, a gene-editing therapeutic in development for sickle cell disease. The role involves designing and executing patient services programs, managing reimbursement solutions, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to ensure patient access and adherence.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute patient services program for risto-cel including launch readiness
• Develop patient support and reimbursement solutions aligned with brand strategy
• Partner with brand, market access, patient advocacy, and operations teams on strategy execution
• Monitor program performance using data and analytics; identify and address access and adherence barriers
• Collaborate with trade and distribution leadership on hub and patient services program management

Requirements

• Experience developing and launching patient services or support programs
• Knowledge of reimbursement strategies and healthcare access barriers
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional partnerships and stakeholder alignment
• Proficiency with data analytics and program performance monitoring
• Experience in rare disease or specialty therapeutics preferred
