LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Financial Analyst role for a global manufacturer. This role supports the financial performance of a manufacturing/plant operation through P&L ownership, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed financial analysis. The Financial Analyst partners closely with plant finance leadership and operations to provide clear insight into performance drivers, highlight risks and opportunities, and support data-driven decision making.

This is a hands-on, on-site role with strong exposure to plant operations, cost structure, and leadership.

Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly P&L close for the plant, including variance analysis and commentary
• Prepare and maintain monthly forecasts and annual operating budgets
• Perform budget-to-actual analysis, identifying key drivers and trends
• Conduct deep-dive financial analysis on labor, overhead, material usage, scrap, productivity, and margins
• Partner with plant leadership to explain financial results and support corrective actions
• Develop and maintain financial models to support operational initiatives, cost improvement, and capital requests
• Track and analyze key plant KPIs and convert data into actionable financial insights
• Support cost accounting activities, including standard cost reviews and variance analysis
• Assist with audits, internal controls, and financial reporting as needed
• Continuously improve reporting tools, processes, and financial transparency at the plant level

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2–5 years of financial analysis or accounting experience in a manufacturing or plant environment preferred
• Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
• Experience working with ERP systems; comfort pulling and analyzing large data sets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture
