Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Locum Tenens – Los Angeles, CA

• Shifts: 12-hour days and nights (7 am-7 pm or 7 pm-7 am)
• Hours/Week: 12 shifts/month (minimum 7-14 shifts)

• Licenses/Certs: Active CA license, DEA, ACLS, BLS, Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 6 years of residency)
• Experience: Preferred minimum 1 year hospital OB-GYN experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient OB-GYN care in a hospital setting with 10 labor and delivery rooms, 8 antepartum, and 18 postpartum rooms
• Manage labor and delivery for both high- and low-risk patients
• Perform surgical procedures such as C-sections, spontaneous abortions, and ovarian torsion
• Assist private physicians with planned and unplanned C-sections
• Provide emergency OB-GYN care and support for unassigned patients and those from primary OBs
• Collaborate with a team that includes laborist backup and perinatology support
• Cover unassigned OB/GYN patients and ED emergencies in a busy hospital environment

What You Need:

• Active California medical license
• DEA certification
• Board Certified or Eligible in OB-GYN (within 6 years of residency)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 1+ year hospital OB-GYN experience preferred
