Information System Security Officer

Position Summary Odyssey has an exciting new opportunity for a Information System Security Officer supporting the Helicopter Division (HD) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The HD supports selected helicopter programs including the HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) and the MH-139. The HD has a mission to rapidly deliver and field new and updated rotary wing aircraft.This is a hybrid position (2-3 days/week in the office). Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Provide technical expertise of A&A in support of the following system security/cybersecurity tasks:Attending program engineering milestone reviewsFollowing DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and/or PIT process, System Security Plan (SSP) developmentParticipation in a program’s Assessment and Authorization Working GroupDeveloping/coordinating presentations, Cyber Impact Evaluation Recommendations (CIER), Interim Authority to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) packages with program office personnel, Certification Authority (CA), Authorizing Official (AO), Subordinate Authorizing Official (SAO), Security Control Assessor (SCA), Security Control Assessor Representative, (SCAR), Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Command (AFOTEC) and operational command personnelAssist in reviewing/developing/updating applicable program documentation for security relevant requirements/issues. Examples include anti-tamper plans, SS, Information Support Plan (ISP), PPP, Information Assurance Strategy (IAS), RMF, Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Operational Requirements Document (ORD)/ Capability Development Document (CDD), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and Security Classification Guide (SCG).Develop and update the ISP as required and provide analysis and support for the adjudication of comments and/or recommendations regarding the ISP.Assist the program office in defining the responses and justification for acceptance and/or rejection of ISP reviewers.Coordinate responses with ISP reviewers and update the ISP in the Rationale Systems Architect Tool and the Enhanced Information Support Plan (EISP) Tool, if required.Coordinate and ensure ISP reviewer acceptance of resolution in EISP or Global Information Grid Technical Guidance (GTG). Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Secret with an ability to obtain a Top SecretEducation and experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience, 3 of which must be in the DoD; OR, 7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD.Technical Skills:Experience with ATO Packages and RMFExperience with Networks, Linux and Windows, and VulnerabilitiesExperience with security planning and writing security assessmentsExperience working with ISSO or ISSMIAT Level II certificationCISSP preferredInterpersonal Skills:Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.Additional InformationLocation: Wright Patterson AFB, OhioTravel: 5-10%Hybrid: In office 2-3 days/week#LI-ST1 Company Overview Odyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
