Sales & Client Care Lead

We're not looking for someone who simply fields leads and processes sign-ups. We're looking for someone who can make people want to come back and create an authentic community.

The role

This isn't a front-desk job. You'll own every new member who joins our Del Mar studio and every existing member who stays — sales, intro conversion, retention outreach, and the in-studio presence that makes people want to return. You're the first and most consistent voice a prospective or current member hears from us.

What you'll do

• Own the full sales process: respond to every lead within 2 business hours, run intros, ask for the decision, follow up until it's a yes or a clear no
• Convert first-time visitors into committed members
• Personally check in with new members and reach out to any at-risk member within 24 hours
• Be a visible, name-knowing presence in the studio during prime-time classes
• Own all client communication — phone, text, and inbox — so no one falls through the cracks

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of direct, quota-carrying sales experience required — membership-based business, boutique fitness, wellness, or a comparably high-touch, relationship-driven sales environment strongly preferred
• A track record of hitting or exceeding a monthly sales number, not just handling inbound interest
• Someone who doesn't let a soft "I'll book later" be the end of the conversation — in person or in writing, you ask for the close and you follow up until you get an answer
• Comfortable being measured on conversion rate and net-new numbers every week
• Warm but direct — our brand is calm and elevated, not high-pressure, but you know how to close

Compensation

Monthly base, plus uncapped commission on new memberships and a 90-day retention bonus per member.
