This position offers a mix of clinic, operating room, and inpatient responsibilities within a collaborative, high-acuity surgical environment.Position OverviewFull-time position (minimum 40 hours per week)8-hour shifts, Monday–FridayWeekend rotation: 1 in 4Rotating on-site coverage with other advanced practice providers to ensure 24/7 trauma and emergency general surgery coverageClinical ResponsibilitiesRespond as the first provider to all trauma activations, initiating patient evaluation and work-upPerform and coordinate general surgery consultations in collaboration with the on-call surgeonComplete patient admissionsConduct daily rounding and coordinate care with the attending physicianProvide outpatient services on a rotating basisParticipate in operative cases with availability to perform first-assist dutiesSupport emergency general surgery coverage as part of a team-based rotation
