Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. In this role, you will support tenants and visitors through strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people‑first culture with integrity every day. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, observe site activity, and document incidents, daily activities, and/or policy-related issues in accordance with post instructions. Support access control and visitor management processes by verifying credentials, providing directions, and reporting suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and/or property concerns. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
