Project Controls / Technical Coordinator

Project Controls / Technical Coordinator TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Project Controls / Technical Coordinator to support engineering and construction projects by coordinating technical documentation, schedules, cost data, and project controls activities. This role serves as a key interface between project management, engineering, construction, procurement, and project controls teams to ensure accurate reporting, document control, and alignment with project execution standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate project controls activities including schedule updates, progress tracking, and cost data collection Support development and maintenance of project schedules, forecasts, and performance reports Track engineering deliverables, technical documents, and construction progress against project plans Assist with change management, trends, and risk/opportunity tracking Prepare and distribute project status reports, dashboards, and presentations Interface with engineering disciplines, construction teams, procurement, and subcontractors to validate technical and progress information Support document control processes, including tracking drawings, specifications, and technical submittals Assist with baseline development, updates, and change control documentation Support project closeout activities, including final reporting and lessons learned Ensure compliance with procedures, contract requirements, and client standards Required Qualifications Education & Experience (one of the following): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience. High school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant project controls or technical coordination experience. Experience supporting engineering and/or construction projects Working knowledge of project controls principles, scheduling, and reporting Proficiency with tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and document management systems Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and communicate effectively with stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience working in EPC or construction contractor environments Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) concepts Experience with cost systems, reporting tools, or ERP platforms Prior experience supporting large or complex capital projects Work Environment Office-based with potential travel to project or construction sites as required May support multiple projects simultaneously Fast-paced, collaborative engineering and construction environment TRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily here. #J-18808-Ljbffr TRS Staffing Solutions
