About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead the financial and accounting operations of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a $20M budget and managing a team of six finance and accounting professionals. A key focus for this role is to improve accounts receivable, billing, and collection functions, working to resolve historical challenges, enhance cash flow, and establish processes for long-term financial stability. The Vice President of Finance will also be tasked with ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations and supporting the organization's executive leadership in achieving its strategic priorities. This is a hands-on leadership position that demands a professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to complex financial data. The role requires a leader who can partner with internal staff and external partners to drive financial improvements and is committed to the mission of the organization, which is dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance and accounting, with a focus on non-profit or similar sectors, and will be instrumental in maintaining the long-term financial health and stability of the organization.
