Application Developer

Salary: $115,000 - 155,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field, with 4–7 years of software development experience
• Hands-on JavaScript and TypeScript expertise, including React, Node.js, and REST API development
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills, including writing complex queries, profiling application data, identifying gaps, and developing recommendations and solutions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Experience supporting production applications, debugging with logs and monitoring tools, and performing root cause analysis
• Strong communication and prioritization skills, with the ability to work with globally distributed teams and occasionally support off-hours activities
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Preferred: Exposure to Azure Databricks or PySpark; Oracle EBS, SOA, APEX, OTM, or Agile PLM; data-intensive dashboards; supply chain; Python; JIRA or ITIL; or an interest in AI-assisted features

• Design, develop, test, and deliver enterprise web application features using React, Node.js, and TypeScript, including REST APIs, dashboards, and data-intensive user experiences
• Write complex SQL to access and analyze application data across Azure SQL, Oracle, and Databricks/Delta Lake, and identify data gaps, quality problems, and inconsistencies
• Turn data findings into recommendations and solutions by implementing data fixes, validation rules, query and schema improvements, and reporting enhancements
• Develop optimized database queries and data-access components, and integrate applications with enterprise systems and curated datasets
• Contribute to Azure Databricks data pipelines and enhancements using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake
• Implement secure authentication, role-based access, and safeguards for enterprise data
• Provide Level 3 support for production applications and pipelines during U.S. hours, troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analysis, and coordinating with India-based teams
• Monitor application and pipeline health with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Databricks job monitoring, resolving issues within defined service levels
• Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow or Jira, and support deployments, releases, and post-deployment validation
• Use Git, pull requests, code reviews, and Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD pipelines for version control, builds, and deployment automation
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in Agile ceremonies, and maintain runbooks and technical documentation
• Keep up with developments in JavaScript, Azure, data engineering, and AI, and identify opportunities to improve applications and processes
