Job Title: Office Assistant / Clerical Specialist (Temporary) July 6th - July 29th

Hourly Rate: $25.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM ( Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week!)

Lunch Break: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (Unpaid)

Primary Location: Port Huron, MI (In-person)

Duration: Short-Term Contract (Tentative Start: July 6 or July 13, 2026 - End Date: July 29, 2026)

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and welcoming Clerical Specialist to support our team during a short-term summer assignment. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in keeping operations running smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized administrative professional looking for a high-paying, short-term project with a great 4-day schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Hospitality: Warmly greet in-person visitors, determine their needs, and direct them appropriately.
Communication Management: Professionally answer and route incoming phone calls.
Mail & Logistics: Standardize the processing of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate filing systems and tackle other essential clerical projects as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience in a clerical, front desk, or administrative support role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
High level of reliability and punctuality.
Must be able to pass a standard background check and provide three professional references.

Important Training & Logistics Note

Orientation Day: Your first day (tentatively Monday, July 6) will take place at our Southfield, MI location.
What to Expect: You will complete an orientation with Employee Relations, undergo essential training, and pick up your company-issued laptop from the IT department.
Regular Schedule: After day one, the remainder of the assignment will be fully in-person at our Port Huron, MI office. (Note: Company equipment will also need to be returned to the Southfield location at the end of the assignment).

Interviews: Virtual via Microsoft Teams on Monday, June 29, 2026 (between 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
