Medical Assistant

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA,CMA) to join our Osceola Medical Center in Bolivar, Missouri - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.


Position Details

• Status: Part Time

• Work Shift: Days

• Hours: 8:00a.m - 6:00p.m

What Your Day Looks Like: Osceola Medical Center provides complete care for your family. Services include:

• Family medicine

• Well baby examinations

• Immunizations and injections

• Gynecological examinations for women

• Annual physicals for adults

• X-rays

• Laboratory services

• Minor office procedures

• Preventative medicine

• Disease management

• Behavioral health

As a Medical Assistant (MA,CMA), you will be:

• Working closely with the nurse practitioner.

• Completing required screenings and assessing the history of present illnesses

• Administering medications orally, via injection, or nebulizer

• Performing IV therapy and catheterization (nurse only)

• Cleaning and restocking exam rooms between patients

• Communicating test results and provider messages to patients

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma


Experience: Nursing/medical experience


Skills: Multi-tasking


Licensure/Certification: N/A


Physical Requirements: The ability to stand for long periods and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
