An Auto Mechanic specializing in passenger cars plays a critical role in vehicle maintenance and repair. Working closely within a small team of 2-3 technicians, this professional employs a variety of diagnostic tools, including manufacturer-specific equipment, generic software, and manual techniques to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics using specialized and generic software tools
- Repair and maintain engines to optimal performance
- Conduct brake service and replacement procedures
- Repair and service transmissions for smooth operation
- Perform routine oil changes and fluid checks
- Inspect and repair suspension systems
- Troubleshoot and fix electrical system issues
- Schedule regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns
- Manage and maintain tools and equipment efficiently
