About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting required License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Ability to access port-a-cath or willingness to learn Description: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required. Must have an active compact license. BLS certification is required. Unit specifics include 25 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-1:5. The unit is staffed with personnel on most shifts. Documentation system utilized is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include working three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every third weekend required. Additional information includes a newly renovated unit with new equipment such as a call bell system, vital sign machines, scales, and IV pumps. One day and one night shift of PTO can be granted at one time, with the expectation of working every third weekend.
