Assistant Property Manager

Worcester, MA | Full-Time | $28-$31/hr

Are you an experienced Assistant Property Manager or Leasing Professional looking to take the next step in your career? Join a growing team at a 330-unit apartment community in Worcester, MA, where you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional resident experience while supporting the daily operations of the property.

What You'll Do

As the Assistant Property Manager, you'll partner closely with the Property Manager to ensure the community operates efficiently while providing outstanding customer service to current and future residents.

Resident Services & Leasing

• Conduct apartment tours and lease available homes.
• Process applications, lease agreements, renewals, and move-in paperwork.
• Build positive relationships with residents and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with move-in and move-out inspections.
• Maintain resident files and leasing documentation.
• Support rent collections and resident communications.

Property Operations

• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Partner with maintenance staff and vendors to resolve resident concerns.
• Help maintain the overall appearance and operation of the community.

Financial & Administrative

• Process invoices, utility bills, and rent payments.
• Assist with expense tracking and reporting.
• Process 40B Affordable Housing applications and recertifications.
• Support the Property Manager with administrative and financial responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an Assistant Property Manager, Leasing Consultant, or Property Management professional.
• Affordable Housing or 40B experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
