Legal Contracts Specialist

The Contract Specialist position is responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and executing IT-related contracts (hardware, software, systems, and services) while ensuring alignment with organizational policies and risk standards. Reporting to the Senior Contract Manager, the specialist serves as a key partner to teams including Finance, Sourcing, Compliance, and Legal. Serves as an internal/external liaison and manages key stakeholder communication. Flex hybrid position, primarily on site.

Responsibilities

• Contract Negotiation & Lifecycle: Manages agreements such as MSAs, MLAs, and SOWs, overseeing the process from intake and drafting/redlining to final execution and filing.
• Collaboration: Works closely with stakeholders to address IP, data security, service levels, and termination terms.
• Administration: Verifies funding with Finance, ensures Business Associate Agreement (BAA) completeness, and tracks contract milestones like renewals and expirations.
• Strategic Support: Advises on sourcing strategy and vendor selection while keeping requesters updated throughout the process.
