Job Details Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry Job Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse Job Location: Canton, Ohio 44708 Start Date: 10/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Orientation: 16 hours Schedule Note: Traveler must work at least every other holiday Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission Current BLS and ACLS certification in hand at time of submission NIHSS certification required prior to start Epic experience required One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be passed during orientation Traveler must be comfortable completing compliance requirements, including background review and fingerprinting timelines Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to the plan of care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic Participate in orientation, competency requirements, and unit-based learning Maintain professional communication and follow all unit and compliance expectations Why Consider This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
