Operations Training Specialist III

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Operations Training Specialist III to deliver instructor-led training and develop learning solutions for sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Greenville, NC. This role balances hands-on instruction with instructional design, supporting employee development and regulatory compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training as part of structured four-week onboarding program covering approximately 30 operational courses
• Design and develop training materials for manufacturing processes, equipment, technologies, and operational procedures
• Create interactive training content including eLearning, videos, presentations, simulations, and proficiency assessments
• Partner with subject matter experts and operational teams to translate technical information into effective learning solutions
• Evaluate training effectiveness, provide coaching and targeted retraining, and continuously improve learning outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience in training, instructional design, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to deliver engaging instruction
• Understanding of aseptic gowning practices in sterile or controlled manufacturing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to develop computer-based learning materials
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills managing multiple priorities
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
