Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly - MWF 7:30am - 4pm T & TH 8:15am - 4:45pm

Job Description
- A Medical Business Specialist (Receptionist) is the first point of contact for patients and their families, setting the tone for an exceptional experience of care, wellness, and healing.
- Obtain and verify all required patient and insurance information and enter it into the registration system accurately.
- Schedule patient appointments, including return office visits, referrals, and diagnostic testing/procedures.
- Greet patients professionally in person and over the telephone and respond effectively to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED. Associate Degree Preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or in a similar healthcare role.
- Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.
- High school graduate or GED.
- 6 months to 1 year Customer Service experience required.

Additional Information
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
