STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group.Position OverviewWe are seeking highly skilled Field Technicians (Ironworkers) with specialized post-tensioning experience to support WYDOT bridge projects. This role goes beyond general labor and requires proven, hands-on expertise in post-tensioning operations, including active participation in tensioning processes.This is a project-based, contract position and does not constitute full-time employment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute post-tensioning operations on bridge construction projectsPerform and support PT bar installation, stressing, and groutingActively participate in tensioning activities, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering specificationsCoordinate with field supervision and engineering teams to ensure proper sequencing and executionMaintain strict compliance with all safety standards and jobsite protocolsAssist with quality control and documentation related to post-tensioning workRequired QualificationsProven experience on a minimum of three (3) post-tensioning projectsDirect, hands-on involvement in tensioning operations (not just general site support)OSHA 10 certification (required)Demonstrated ability to perform skilled ironwork associated with post-tensioning systemsPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience with:PT bar installationBar stressing proceduresGrouting operationsPTI Bonded certification/trainingASBI certificationExperience working on bridge or DOT infrastructure projectsAdditional InformationThis is a contract-based position supporting WYDOT bridge workRole is intended for experienced, specialized technicians—not general laborersDuration and schedule will be based on project needsStructural Technologies is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety and quality.
