Description:

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Shop/Yard Technician to join our equipment rental team. This position involves in-house maintenance, equipment assembly, loading and unloading attachments, and securing equipment on trailers for customer pickup and unloading upon return. This is a hands-on job for someone who enjoys working with equipment, tools, trailers, and machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and prepare rental attachments for customers
• Assemble new skid steer and tractor attachments
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Grease fittings, check hydraulic hoses, replace cutting edges, tighten hardware, and inspect wear items
• Load and unload attachments safely using forklifts, skid steers, or tractors
• Properly chain or strap down and secure equipment on trailers
• Assist customers with hookup and loading procedures
• Operate a company box truck to transport materials, equipment, and supplies as required
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of shop
• Help track inventory and report damaged equipment
• Follow all shop and safety procedures
• Assist Quality Team when needed with product assembly, testing, rework, offsite gym installations, etc.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required
• Experience with skid steers, tractors, trailers, forklifts, or construction equipment preferred
• Ability to safely operate equipment and power tools
• Ability to lift 70+ pounds and work outdoors
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Monday–Friday 8am-4:30pm
