Tribute Eatery & Bar in Ankeny, IA is hiring experienced Bartenders to join our team!

Tribute Eatery & Bar is a lively full-service restaurant and bar serving comfort food, craft cocktails, curated wines, and local beers. With an energetic vibe and a welcoming team culture, we’ve quickly become a go-to spot in the Coralville community.

Compensation for fully trained Bartenders starts at $4.35/hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Typical shifts range from 4 - 8 hours
• Weekend and evening availability is strongly preferred

Full-Time Benefits

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and create a friendly, energetic atmosphere at the bar.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of beverage offerings, menu items, and drink preparation.
• Prepare beverages for both bar guests and dining room service.
• Build genuine connections with guests by providing attentive, knowledgeable hospitality.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Complete opening, closing, stocking, and side work duties.
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and fellow bartenders to keep service running smoothly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry bar supplies and beverage cases as needed.
• Must obtain Iowa Program for Alcohol Compliance Training (I-PACT) certification within 30 days of hire.
