Senior Project Accountant

Privately held construction industry client has a new permanent opportunity for a Senior Project Accountant. Company works throughout the US, and is recognized as an industry leader in their sector. The Senior Project Accountant is a new position due to growth that will work with leadership, Project Managers, various teams and help mentor and oversee Project Accountants. Approximate Base Salary of $95,000 - $125,000 + Bonus Responsibilities Of The Senior Project Accountant Responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for assigned construction projects Analyze WIP, business plans, budgets, forecasts, and variances Conduct productivity and profitability analysis for assigned projects to leadership Analyze and advise on financial/profitability impacts related to labor, materials, equipment, assets Work with internal/external customers managing financial and billing processes according to contract terms Present financial information to Finance, Project Management and Operations leadership Manage lien waivers and payment process Monitor pay estimates, cash forecast for AR, supplier payments and contract values Assist with staff oversight Ideal Experience For The Senior Project Accountant Role Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related 4+ years of Accounting experience Accounting experience in construction, engineering, architecture, project manufacturing, or related Experience providing insights on accounting/finance matters to individuals throughout an organization Strong project/time management skills Advanced Excel skills, working with large data sets Highlights Of The Senior Project Accountant Position Strong promotion track Health, Vision, Dental, life, disability Insurance, 401K, PTO Company is growing, with lots of long-term employees Professional development and training #J-18808-Ljbffr
