Position Summary The Rehabilitation Aide provides support to physical therapists and the clinical team by maintaining a clean, organized environment, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for use, and delivering excellent customer service. Ensures linen is cleaned, folded, and replaced when necessary. Stocks treatment tables and modality carts with appropriate linen and supplies. Maintains weights and other equipment, ensuring all items are returned to proper stations after use. Keeps gym area, waiting room, and restrooms organized and clear of clutter; performs mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming when required. Fills out and accurately updates equipment maintenance sheets; monitors temperatures of paraffin and hydroculator baths for safety. Inspects equipment such as ultrasound units, EMS units, paraffin baths, whirlpool tubs, hydroculator units, freezers, and fluidotherapy units daily to ensure they are in good working order. Checks supply cabinets periodically to ensure adequate supplies for clinicians. Engages patients in friendly conversations and provides excellent customer service. Refers all medical questions to the treating clinician. Additional Duties Perform other duties as required. Stand on feet most of the day. Multi‑task and work with more than one clinician at a time. Education And Experience Previous clinical aide experience preferred. High school graduate preferred; internship experience valued. Demonstrate interest in the rehabilitation field. Energetic team player with compassion toward patients. Complete tasks thoroughly. Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred. Essential Qualifications Ability to consistently communicate a clear understanding of patient/client expectations and adapt as appropriate. Ability to focus attention on determining progress opportunities. Commitment to personal and professional development. Collaborative mindset to achieve common goals. Ability to work independently. Experience managing multiple projects. Language Skills English – read, write, and speak proficiently. Physical Demands Meet vision requirements: close range, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Regularly required to talk and hear. Perform typical office activities: seated computer work, filing, lifting office supplies. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and hand/arm use. Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 20–25 pounds. Fine hand manipulation: keyboarding. Local travel required. Work Environment Internal office setting. Low noise level. Individual base pay depends on various factors, including complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Salary Information Minimum Salary/Wage: USD$ 15.00 Hr.
