RN Telemetry Full Time

Providence Health and Services, Tarzana, CA. Full-time, RN – Telemetry in the Emergency Department at Providence Cedars‑Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. 12‑hour variable shifts. Role Summary Supports the Emergency Department and is primarily focused on the care of admitted patients boarding in the ED. The position may also include floating, in alignment with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including admitted patients boarding. Support ED operations during variable shifts. Float within the department as needed. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program. California Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association upon hire. California Fire and Life Safety Card – National Organization within 30 days of hire. National Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association upon hire. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate – NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire. 1 year of nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
