TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in San Antonio, Texas, 78233!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP procedures. Candidates must be able to perform moderate sedation with another RN. Description: Call is required and weekends will be alternating. The unit has 2 beds and a total of 1 full-time RN, 1 part-time RN, 1 PRN RN in orientation, and 3 technicians. There are typically 2 RNs and 2-3 technicians on day shifts, with a patient ratio of 1:1 on night shifts. Equipment used includes Olympus scopes, Medivator, and Scope Buddy. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Preferred skills include experience with Bronchoscopy and EBUS. Typical procedures performed include EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCPs, Bronchoscopies, EBUS, and robotic bronchoscopies, as well as occasional thoracentesis and Pleur-X placement. Candidates who meet the above qualifications will be prioritized for consideration. The dress code is scrubs in a teal blue color; hospital scrubs may be worn. On-call duties consist of 2-3 days a week, including call every third weekend.
