Medical Imaging Field Engineer 3 or 4 AT - Houston, TX

Medical Imaging Field Engineer 3 – Service Area: Houston, TX; Shift: 1st Responsibilities Service AT Imaging Equipment, performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites. Deliver timely repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Manage financial performance in territory: revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management. Maintain tool and test equipment expiration dates, ensuring accurate documentation on eFSR. Manage company assets including company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and accurately perform necessary administrative duties. Provide mentoring opportunities to other CSE staff on all competencies and responsibilities. Qualifications Knowledge and experience servicing imaging equipment with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain business relationships and perform administrative duties accurately. Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Required Skills Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred. Proficient in tools and service test equipment; able to work individually and in a team. Proficiency in network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools). Ability to locate, read, and understand installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions. 7+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing imaging instruments. Valid driver’s license; ability to drive independently day and night; good driving record. Physical Requirements Lifting up to 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/step stool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, fine grasping, good vision; ability to work alone. Vendor Credentialing Position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to access client sites, including valid identification, background checks, drug screens, immunizations, and health‑training certifications.
