Properly position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging. Operate CT scanner and related hardware, adjusting technical factors to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Prepare and manage contrast administration as required, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and document procedure details. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff; verify patient identification and ensure accurate labeling and storage of images. Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and privacy policies; perform routine quality checks and maintain equipment in good working order.
