Your Primary Responsibilities

• Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, requesting necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with medical staff, or autonomously (if credentialed)
• Guiding patients and their families through preventive care, wellness education, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatment plans within your practice scope
• Engaging in follow-up care and managing chronic health concerns
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, cohesive patient care
• Accurately documenting all medical interactions using electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Wisconsin
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or similar qualification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
