Business Data Analyst

About The Role The role owns the analytical architecture and data modeling layer that transforms raw product and operational logs into actionable business intelligence. The team relies on this position to bridge the gap between complex data pipelines and executive decision-making, ensuring data reliability, clarity, and performance. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and dimensional schemas in Snowflake and dbt to support cross-functional analytics Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from production databases and third-party APIs Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to define key performance indicators, tracking metrics, and reporting requirements Build and maintain interactive, real-time dashboards and reporting suites using Looker or Tableau for executive and operational visibility Perform root-cause analysis on data anomalies, pipeline failures, and metric discrepancies to ensure high data integrity across all reporting Establish and enforce data governance standards, documentation practices, and code review processes across the analytics team What We Are Looking For 3–6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or analytics engineering within a technology or data-driven environment Advanced SQL proficiency and strong hands-on experience with modern data stack tooling including dbt, Snowflake, and BigQuery Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI, including custom view design and performance optimization Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and scripting (pandas, NumPy) and experience with Git version control Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field Bonus: Experience managing Airflow orchestration, working with event-tracking data (Segment, Snowplow), or building forecasting models #J-18808-Ljbffr Evlo AI
