Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Purpose and Impact The Supply and Inventory Planner plays an important role within our Manufacturing and Supply Chain organization, serving as a connector between demand, capacity, and execution. This role helps to convert the long-term demand plan into a long-term monthly supply plan designed to support high service levels and customer demand, while balancing cost, capacity, and operational constraints. The Supply and Inventory Planner will contribute to coordinating the long-term supply and inventory plan for product lines within the CSST NA business. This includes supporting the development and on-going management of a monthly supply and inventory plan that aligns with the business’ C-IBP process. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, support the management of stock health, and help to coordinate across functions to identify and address risks and opportunities within the supply and inventory plans.Key Accountabilities Create long term supply and inventory plan for assigned product lines as input for the integrated business planning cycle Generate and execute safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs. Maintain data relevant to planning activities including costs, capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data. Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages. Support the management of stock health management for assigned product lines with consistent monitoring of aging and non-performing inventory, holding cross-functional partners accountable to identified actions Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned #LI-KP1Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Three years of experience with at least one in supply and inventory planning Experience working effectively with multiple functions including transportation, operations, FSQR, production scheduling, warehouse/terminal, finance, demand planning, etc. Experience with supply planning technologies (SAP IBP, APO, etc.) Continuous improvement experience Experience with critical thinking and challenge the status quo when appropriate Translate complex data into actionable insights Experience with Excel Additional Details • Location preference is MN-Wayzata or KS-Wichita, however, open to any location near a Cargill SST (Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizers) plant/office (IN, TN, NE, IL, TX, GA, ND, IA, FL, or OH) - This is not a remote position. • Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.• The business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position• Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.• Daycare Discount Program Pilot Sidney, OH - Benefit package includes Paid time off; paid holidays; medical, vision and dental coverage; flexible spending accounts; life insurance; disability insurance; retirement savings; employee and family assistance program (EAP). The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
