Associate Staff AccountantThis position will report to the Manager of Accounting and will assist with month end close, cost and revenue reporting, and variance analysis. The successful candidate must be willing to accept additional responsibilities as required, work on detailed tasks and on higher level projects.Participate in month-end close processPrepare variance analysis of expenses and revenueGL accounting, journal entries, analyze accounts, and prepare supporting documentationUnderstand and analyze variances for client P&L accountsPrepare account reconciliationsBe Finance point of contact for client Account team membersRespond to internal and external clients' information requestsImplement continuous process improvement in all areas of the departmentAdditional projects as necessaryParticipate in internal and external auditMS Office and Accounting System experience requiredCopilot /ChatGPT experience requiredSAP experience a plus, intermediate Excel skillsDegree in Accounting/Finance required2-5 years of accounting experienceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to quickly learn and back up other accounting positions on multiple tasksMust be comfortable collaborating with employees outside of the office at other locations, via phone, email and web meetings to gain understanding and obtain information to complete monthly tasksDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a variety of personnel across multiple functionsAble to work with a sense of urgency without hands-on supervisionAble to display initiative & take ownership of problemsMust be a strong teammate, flexible, and willing to work overtime when requiredWhen you join Epsilon, we'll create something EPIC together. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
