About Us PTS is a therapist-owned company based in Peoria and Belleville, IL, employing over 375 professionals across a variety of settings, including: St. Elizabeth’s and Touchette hospitals (Southern IL) Home Health, Inpatient, Outpatient, and Skilled Nursing Facilities Position Summary As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll work under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based treatment and support patient recovery across diverse populations. Qualifications Licensed or license-eligible in Illinois (Physical Therapy Practice Act) CPR certification APTA membership preferred Experience treating various age groups (neonates to geriatrics) preferred Valid driver's license Must pass background check and drug screen Key Responsibilities Review patient information and implement the plan of care Deliver effective, evidence-based treatmentDocument and report on patient progressMonitor treatment outcomes and communicate results Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills Work collaboratively with your team and contribute to quality improvement initiatives We Value: A positive, patient-first attitude Respect for patient privacy and confidentiality Teamwork, initiative, and commitment to excellence Job duties may be revised.
