Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

Schedule: Night (11p-7:30a), includes every other weekend and holiday.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• RN license within the state required; BSN preferred.
• One year of inpatient psychiatric experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu.
• Collaborate as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, contributing to individual treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions.
• Foster therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Utilize critical thinking to make decisions and solve problems effectively.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be willing to float to similar or lower acuity units if needed.
• No requests for time off (RTO) can be approved for this assignment.
