Job Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Flooring Assistant to support flooring installation projects throughout Northern California. This is a hands-on position involving demolition, preparation, and installation of flooring materials. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical labor, including extended time on their knees, and is willing to travel to various job sites.

Job Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Flooring Assistant to support flooring installation projects throughout Northern California. This is a hands-on position involving demolition, preparation, and installation of flooring materials. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical labor, including extended time on their knees, and is willing to travel to various job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with moving furniture and preparing work areas
- Remove existing flooring (carpet, tile, hardwood, etc.)
- Support installation of new flooring materials
- Use hauling equipment to remove and dispose of old flooring materials
- Participate in grinding and surface preparation work as needed
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of a respirator when required
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Work closely with the owner/installer to complete projects efficiently
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Comfortable working on knees for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
- Willingness to work in various environments (residential and commercial)
- Respirator, gloves, and necessary safety gear will be provided by the owner
- Must follow safety protocols, especially during grinding and dust-producing tasks
- Will remove/replace respirator charcoal filters as instructed
- No prior experience required, but construction or flooring experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Northern California
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
