Maintenance Associate

Kevin Charles Fine Upholstery | New Albany, Mississippi Reports to: Director of Manufacturing Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Friday 6:30 am to 11:00 am

As a family-run company, we've been building quality upholstered furniture since 2003, and we're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Associate to keep our plant running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant start-up, including equipment start-up and pre-shift checks
• Complete daily and preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete timely repairs
• Maintain electrical components, including lighting
• Handle general facilities upkeep throughout the plant
• Perform occasional welding as needed
• Build and repair carpentry items, including workstations used throughout the plant
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal departments and external vendors

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and basic troubleshooting preferred
• Welding and carpentry skills preferred
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow safety procedures
• Valid driver's license required for maintenance runs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a team with Associates across the department and factory
• Willingness to communicate new ideas and suggestions
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
