Registered Behavior Technician

Overview Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, through in-home and community-based ABA services. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect data on client behavior during sessions Assist in the development and implementation of care plans Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors Maintain accurate and confidential client records Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be at least 18 years of age Job Details Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Professional development assistance Travel reimbursement Schedule Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Garden City, Kansas (Required) Willingness to travel: 100% (Required) Work Location: In person Our Values Compassion: We prioritize kindness and empathy in all our interactions.
