Waste Management Analyst

Collects samples of incoming waste from end tricks and performs analytical lab work of collected waste according to established procedures. Practices safe work habits and ensures proper handling of materials and proper grounding of trucks. Executes corrective actions and preventive actions according to safety program before issues arise. If load is approved determine appropriate disposal location at facility and direct trucks to ensure proper offloading and safety in conjunction with heavy equipment and separation processes at the plant. Ensure that all materials necessary for the maintenance of the analysis test area in stock. Practices good housekeeping, maintains the cleanliness of the test area and all instruments and equipment. Disposes of all fluids including oils and chemicals according to established safety and environmental policies. Performs administrative office functions including answering the telephone, monitoring emails, faxing, making copies, creating customer manifest and reports as required. Prepares customer tickets according to company procedures and required record keeping. Assists personnel at facility as required with other operator and maintenance duties.
