Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule:
Rotating 12-hour shifts; must be willing to work days and nights.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Experience with Epic/Stork EMR
- Unit-specific skills in obstetrics (antepartum, intrapartum, post-partum), GYN, and newborns

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages.
- Monitor and assess patients to ensure safety and well-being throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in planning and implementing patient care.
- Educate and support patients and families regarding childbirth and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to comply with healthcare standards.
- Float to maternal child health, pediatrics, or adult floors as necessary to provide support.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must adhere to all facility policies regarding orientation, background checks, drug screens, and other compliance requirements.
