Role Description The Senior Community Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one or more residential communities. This position manages property performance, including budgeting, rent collection, expense control, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. The Senior Community Manager leads and mentors on-site staff, coordinates maintenance and vendor services, and ensures that common areas and facilities are well-maintained and safe. They serve as the primary point of contact for residents, handling communications, conflict resolution, and resident relations to promote high satisfaction and retention. The role also involves implementing marketing and leasing strategies, preparing for inspections and audits, and continuously identifying opportunities to improve community operations and resident experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in property or community management, including oversight of residential communities and day-to-day operations.
• Strong financial acumen with skills in budgeting, rent collection, expense management, and interpreting financial reports.
• Proven leadership abilities, including supervising on-site staff, supporting performance development, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with residents, owners, vendors, and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities, respond to issues quickly, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws, local housing regulations, and standard property management practices.
• Comfort working on-site in Dallas, TX, with the ability to handle occasional evening or weekend responsibilities as community needs require.
• Proficiency with property management software and common office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools).
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred. xhyhwjd
• Previous experience as a Community Manager or similar role, with a track record of improving resident satisfaction and property performance, is strongly preferred.
