Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Background in healthcare or home health OT work beneficial
• Adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other school professionals
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities within an educational setting
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
• Deliver direct and consultative OT/COTA services according to IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with school staff and parents to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Document sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district policies and regulations
