It will also involve in-water testing of vehicles and will occasionally require travel to perform vehicle testing.ATEP’s focus is to accelerate innovation and develop the next generation of capabilities by pursuing the development of new products and taking them to TRL 5/6. Following that they are transitioned into business units to be matured and scaled. ATEP has a fail-fast culture, building prototype products to develop/test new capabilities. The focus is on getting hardware into live test scenarios rather than dotting i’s and crossing t’s.The Staff Systems Engineer is initially responsible for leading the definition, design and development of the propulsion and fin CAS systems as well as integration into the energy, control and ancillary systems.
